The Posture We Practice

The Posture We Practice:

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Recognizing our own brokenness and the brokenness in our world, we are committed to living lives that are:

  • Surrendered- We have chosen a lifestyle of worship before our God; only in Him can we find everything that’s worth living for.
  • Dependent- We have chosen to wait on and walk with the Holy Spirit through a lifestyle of prayer; Where else can we go?
  • Relational- We are intentional about living in a way that allows us to share with others in the process of finding what’s worth living for.
  • Authentic- We are mindful and candid about the ups and downs in our process of finding what’s worth living for.
  • Gracious- We are committed to creating space for people to be in process.
  • Focused- We are purposeful about simplifying our lives so we can channel our time and energy toward what matters most.
  • Sacrificial- We are determined to give our lives for what Jesus gave His life for
