Our Story
In 2004 Bridges Community Church in Fremont, CA sent a group of people to establish a video venue service in the city of Livermore. For over three years this faithful group of people met for worship together every Sunday morning with their own worship team and watching a video of the sermon from the Pastor in Fremont.

God honored their efforts and many lives were impacted by the video venue ministry.
In May 2008, the leadership of Bridges Community Church determined that in order for the Livermore Venue to reach it's full potential the ministry needed to enter into a new season of life and establish an identity of it's own. To that end the Bridges Staff and Elders began a search for a church-planting pastor to lead Bridges Livermore from it's status as a video venue to an independent, self-supporting church.
In what seemed like a whirlwind movement of the Holy Spirit (in less than three months) the leadership at Bridges found the man for the job. Luke Brower, who graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield IL in May 2008', was hired July 27th, 2008 to take on the responsabilities as the Lead Pastor in the church-planting effort. He, his wife and their four kids made the transition from the Midwest to Northern California and began their ministry Agust 15th, 2008. With passion, excitement and more than a little trial and error Luke initiated a plan to transition the church from Bridges Livermore to Livermore Alive.
