Simple Ministry
It's what we do
At Livermore Alive we believe that the church is not a place or the sum of its programs, the church is a family of people. As such, the people of Livermore Alive see themselves as the church wherever they go: at the grocery store, the PTA meeting, at work, at the soccer game, at the movie theater etc. We are a church without walls intentionally investing our lives in building life-giving relationships with the people we interact with on a daily basis.
In keeping with this "go and be" church philosophy we have made a commitment to build a church that maintains a "Simple Ministry" by limiting the programs we run at our church. We do this so that the people in our church aren't always busy incestuously ministering to one another within the four walls of some building and actually have time to invest in the lives of people in our community.
Having said that, we recognize how important it is to engage in relationships with one another as believers and encourage each other in the faith. So we are working to set in place a few strategically designed programs that enable us to maixmize the effectiveness of our times together so that we are freed up to love our world.
