So they are fighting paying the bloated fees and extra charges. Please pray for peace for Christy as she is very nervous about going, and also pray that the situation is settled before then, so she won't have to go

Specifically, my concerns about the medical stuff going on:  I want to make certain, and I want the doctors to be certain, for sure,  what connections there are in relation to the pain.
Trigeminal neuralgia nerve caused by shingles (which I had a few years ago with no rash, just the pain, then a couple of years ago, an eruption of pain on the other side of the face, which wiped me out for 1-2, 3 months) and if some cranial massage will eliminate/relieve the condition/pain, nausea, noticeable swelling in the face.

Or if it has anything to do with some of the medications that I have been on for quite some time that is deciding to show these symptoms.  Which is one of the precautions to be watchful for.

I am thankful for the ct scan being normal, no blockages, which I was fearful of and no cardiac problems, Praise You God.

Hey everyone! I wanted to open ourselves up for help because we are in need of some intervention from God. I am contemplating the way that ""Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" (Newton's 3rd Law) seems to apply to life too.
I got a JOB - after a long time of waiting and being unemployed and re-directing my career towards teaching Art - I just got hired at Junction Ave Middle School teaching 2 periods of Art to 7th and 8th graders.
Due to this wonderful event, it opened up a gamut of challenges for me:
1. I have to teach 1st and 2nd period = early morning.
2. I have to drop my 3 kids off at their school no earlier than 8am but I have to be at my job at 8am too.
3. I have to hire a daycare to watch Mikko, thus having to also drive HIM to a location before 8am.  It also means my meager income will be slashed by childcare costs. (no, being middle income, we don't qualify for any assistance for daycare)
4. If you know me, you know I am "on-time-challenged" as it IS and I am scared to death that this circus of dropping kids off in the morning will cause me to be late to my 1st period.
5. I have a BIG State Exam to prepare for Sept 10th to pass the Art Exam. The material is daunting - art history and concepts that are harder than I thought.
6. I have to start driving to San Jose 1x a week to attend a graduate course in Art Teaching Methodology to qualify for my credential.

Good things/Bad things - they come together at one time.
My most dire need is to find a place nearby to drop off Mikko each morning. Also, a place nearby for someone to possibly walk Linnea to Kindergarten since they won't let me drop her off early.
I am stressed, time is ticking away and the pressure on me is crushing. Please pray for me and Mike as we deal with these blessings and the difficulties. We want to pray for you too - we know we're not the only ones with these kinds of life-challenges. LOVE YOU ALL!

Praise Reports!

Joyce Wheaton - Arlene has been discharged from the hospital today to go to a home here in Livermore where she will be looked after.  Keep her recovery in prayer. Her speech was more improved yesterday.
Praise God, for Your patience and merciful blessings You look forward to giving Your children, everday.

Eileen and Marion are doing good today.  Eileen is up and walking. Praise You God for Your Love is Everlasting and You are the One we can run to.

I had gotten this around 1 PM or so :
Hello , My name is Sandy and I am Chuck & Loretta Aydelotte's daughter. I just want to say Thank you so much for sending out the e-mail for prayer in regards to my husband Randy. He is still in surgery but we know our Heavenly Father is the great physician and will be guiding the doctors as they proceed.
Again I would like to tell you and all your friends Thank you so much. We are claiming Jeremiah 29:11
Sandy Aydelotte Van Emmerik

8 PM "The procedure wasn't as successful as they had hoped." He is resting now may go home in 5 days.
Please continue with your prayers.  God is so awesome, she said many people from when they did youth ministry have just come from all over with so many praise reports per Sandy. Sandy sounds very grounded when we spoke, His Spirit is with them.

Joyce Wheaton - I had Accidently called a person with the same name of my mother-in-law, and found this person in need of prayers. Her son-in-law, 52 years old, diabetic (bleeder) will go into surgery tomorrow morning to remove 80 percent of his liver, he has cancer all over his body. Then, within a month, open heart surgery to remove 2 tumors.
We all know there are no accidents, so this means we are to collectively pray for this man and his wife. Not sure if they have children, the lady I phoned had a call coming in.
She mentioned that they are praying for God's will in this. Let us continue to remain faithful to the work we have been called for.

Joyce Wheaton - Lenny and I have a very dear friend that we just found out had a stroke on Thursday / Friday  and is in the hospital in Fremont.  Lenny spoke with her this AM and he said that he did not believe she remembered him. This is highly unusual, she loves Lenny so very much and loves me too. And it sounds like she is not walking.  Lenny and I plan on going to visit her tonight.  Her only surviving family members, a sister (and nephew, she had no children), is out of town and will be back on this coming Thursday.

7/3/2011 -

I always wonder why some people have it all. Why does God make me suffer? Why is my burden so hard to bare?

Psalm 73

1 Truly God is good to Israel,
to those whose hearts are pure.
2 But as for me, I almost lost my footing.
My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone.
3 For I envied the proud
when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness.
4 They seem to live such painless lives;
their bodies are so healthy and strong.
5 They don’t have troubles like other people;
they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else.
6 They wear pride like a jeweled necklace
and clothe themselves with cruelty.
7 These fat cats have everything
their hearts could ever wish for!
8 They scoff and speak only evil;
in their pride they seek to crush others.
9 They boast against the very heavens,
and their words strut throughout the earth.
10 And so the people are dismayed and confused,
drinking in all their words.
11 “What does God know?” they ask.
“Does the Most High even know what’s happening?”
12 Look at these wicked people—
enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply.
13 Did I keep my heart pure for nothing?
Did I keep myself innocent for no reason?
14 I get nothing but trouble all day long;
every morning brings me pain.
15 If I had really spoken this way to others,
I would have been a traitor to your people.
16 So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper.
But what a difficult task it is!
17 Then I went into your sanctuary, O God,
and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.
18 Truly, you put them on a slippery path
and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction.
19 In an instant they are destroyed,
completely swept away by terrors.
20 When you arise, O Lord,
you will laugh at their silly ideas
as a person laughs at dreams in the morning.
21 Then I realized that my heart was bitter,
and I was all torn up inside.
22 I was so foolish and ignorant—
I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.
23 Yet I still belong to you;
you hold my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
I desire you more than anything on earth.
26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart;
he is mine forever.
27 Those who desert him will perish,
for you destroy those who abandon you.
28 But as for me, how good it is to be near God!
I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter,
and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.
