Praise Reports!

Joyce Wheaton – Arlene has been discharged from the hospital today to go to a home here in Livermore where she will be looked after.  Keep her recovery in prayer. Her speech was more improved yesterday.
Praise God, for Your patience and merciful blessings You look forward to giving Your children, everday.

Eileen and Marion are doing good today.  Eileen is up and walking. Praise You God for Your Love is Everlasting and You are the One we can run to.

I had gotten this around 1 PM or so :
Hello , My name is Sandy and I am Chuck & Loretta Aydelotte’s daughter. I just want to say Thank you so much for sending out the e-mail for prayer in regards to my husband Randy. He is still in surgery but we know our Heavenly Father is the great physician and will be guiding the doctors as they proceed.
Again I would like to tell you and all your friends Thank you so much. We are claiming Jeremiah 29:11
Sandy Aydelotte Van Emmerik

8 PM “The procedure wasn’t as successful as they had hoped.” He is resting now may go home in 5 days.
Please continue with your prayers.  God is so awesome, she said many people from when they did youth ministry have just come from all over with so many praise reports per Sandy. Sandy sounds very grounded when we spoke, His Spirit is with them.

Joyce Wheaton – I had Accidently called a person with the same name of my mother-in-law, and found this person in need of prayers. Her son-in-law, 52 years old, diabetic (bleeder) will go into surgery tomorrow morning to remove 80 percent of his liver, he has cancer all over his body. Then, within a month, open heart surgery to remove 2 tumors.
We all know there are no accidents, so this means we are to collectively pray for this man and his wife. Not sure if they have children, the lady I phoned had a call coming in.
She mentioned that they are praying for God’s will in this. Let us continue to remain faithful to the work we have been called for.

Joyce Wheaton – Lenny and I have a very dear friend that we just found out had a stroke on Thursday / Friday  and is in the hospital in Fremont.  Lenny spoke with her this AM and he said that he did not believe she remembered him. This is highly unusual, she loves Lenny so very much and loves me too. And it sounds like she is not walking.  Lenny and I plan on going to visit her tonight.  Her only surviving family members, a sister (and nephew, she had no children), is out of town and will be back on this coming Thursday.

7/3/2011 -

I always wonder why some people have it all. Why does God make me suffer? Why is my burden so hard to bare?

Psalm 73

1 Truly God is good to Israel,
to those whose hearts are pure.
2 But as for me, I almost lost my footing.
My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone.
3 For I envied the proud
when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness.
4 They seem to live such painless lives;
their bodies are so healthy and strong.
5 They don’t have troubles like other people;
they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else.
6 They wear pride like a jeweled necklace
and clothe themselves with cruelty.
7 These fat cats have everything
their hearts could ever wish for!
8 They scoff and speak only evil;
in their pride they seek to crush others.
9 They boast against the very heavens,
and their words strut throughout the earth.
10 And so the people are dismayed and confused,
drinking in all their words.
11 “What does God know?” they ask.
“Does the Most High even know what’s happening?”
12 Look at these wicked people—
enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply.
13 Did I keep my heart pure for nothing?
Did I keep myself innocent for no reason?
14 I get nothing but trouble all day long;
every morning brings me pain.
15 If I had really spoken this way to others,
I would have been a traitor to your people.
16 So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper.
But what a difficult task it is!
17 Then I went into your sanctuary, O God,
and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.
18 Truly, you put them on a slippery path
and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction.
19 In an instant they are destroyed,
completely swept away by terrors.
20 When you arise, O Lord,
you will laugh at their silly ideas
as a person laughs at dreams in the morning.
21 Then I realized that my heart was bitter,
and I was all torn up inside.
22 I was so foolish and ignorant—
I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.
23 Yet I still belong to you;
you hold my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
I desire you more than anything on earth.
26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart;
he is mine forever.
27 Those who desert him will perish,
for you destroy those who abandon you.
28 But as for me, how good it is to be near God!
I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter,
and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.

7/2/2011 – Please Pray for…

Joyce Wheaton – Our sister-in-law, Eileen Wheaton, is scheduled for a kidney transplant to aid in her sister’s, Marian health on Thursday, July 7 in Houston, Texas.

Listen, Beloved “Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you in the womb and will help you: DO NOT FEAR!” Isaiah 41:10-13 “Fear not, for I am with you, Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

So often we get wrapped up in our own crap. And it’s sooo huge. We think that it’s too much for us and definitely too much for anyone else. How do we miss it? How do we completely disregard what God tells us over and over again. 6 times! SIX times. And that is in a whole 4 verses. He says I am with you, yet we feel absolutely alone, I will help you and we complain that we have to do everything ourselves, Fear not, yet we jump at every tiny noise. He loves us more than we can ever imagine. He made the sun shine, yet we don’t trust him to help us with our “huge” problems. How ignorant are we.

Thank you God, for loving us when we refuse to love ourselves. Thank you for standing by us, even though we refuse to acknowledge your mere existence. You hold the whole world in your hands, yet on your hand you wrote my name (Isaiah 49:16). You chose me, to be in your family. You trust me with your children. You give me your abundant blessings that I definitely don’t deserve. I praise You for your amazing plan that you let me be a part of. Without You, I am nothing.
